Who We Are
UNITI is the partnership of three affiliated societies that have provided important community services for decades. Semiahmoo House Society provides quality services and supports to people with disabilities and their families in Surrey and White Rock. Peninsula Estates Housing Society provides affordable and inclusive housing that reflects the diversity of our community. The Semiahmoo Foundation ensures that UNITI has the recognition, relationships and resources to support an inclusive community.
Why We Are Involved
UNITI is about promoting inclusion and creating models that will influence societal change. UNITI believes that all people have the right to control their own lives through personal choices about relationships, jobs, living arrangements, spirituality, travelling, and recreational activities, and that all people have the right to give back to their communities through volunteering and helping others. Everyone is entitled to live a happy, full and meaningful life.
With this, UNITI created “WISE Employment Solutions”; which is dedicated to working collaboratively towards creating inclusive and dynamic workplaces through innovative solutions. We are committed to serving employers and jobseekers to create and support diverse and inclusive workplaces which will further lead to building healthy, beautiful and flourishing communities! WISE supports and empowers jobseekers to discover their potential, passions and unique skills and helps in connecting employers to a huge and diverse, but untapped labour pool.
