Spinal Cord Injury BC helps people with spinal cord injuries, and related disabilities and their families adjust, adapt, and thrive after an injury.

Why We Are Involved

We believe in equity and inclusion and provide the support and information people need to succeed in whichever career path they choose to follow.

Our expertise comes from the lived experience of our membership and from more than 60 years of providing programs and services to people with physical disabilities.

Accessibility Initiatives

More than half of SCI BC’s staff live with a physical disability.

We work with local governments and businesses to help them increase accessibility in the built environment.

We work with people living with disabilities to help find tools and strategies to manage their injury so they can confidently return to work, family, and community.

We actively promote accessible employment opportunities for people with disabilities on our SCI BC Marketplace.
