Who we are

Olive Grove Childcare Ltd. was founded in 2010 by Jade Baerg with the goal of creating a childcare company that was focused on providing high-quality, child-centered programming with a team that shared her vision and passion.

We compliment the Reggio-Emilia approach with our own Curious Curriculum and BC’s Early Learning Framework.

At Olive Grove Childcare we believe that every child is wholly competent and has an inherent ability to learn about the world in their own unique way. Our centres take on the approach inspired by the Reggio- Emilia philosophy as well as our own Curious Curriculum.

Hand in hand these promote self-directed, experiential learning in relationship-driven environments. Our team of educators fosters an environment where children are respected and listened to. Creating spaces where children could explore and integrate their understanding of the world and form their personality.

Why we are involved

The involvement with Accessible Employers began through the founders desire to create a more inclusive and accessible work culture.

Creating a space with diversity, inclusion and openness for all abilities and skills within our team. This is promoted within the children and families that use our service and we want to further our growth in creating that inclusion of skills and abilities to our staff.
