Who we are

Roots & Rivers partners with social purpose and public service organizations to bring clarity, strategy, and heart to your complex work. Through our strategic planning, evaluation, and facilitation services we help you navigate uncertainty, strengthen alignment, and drive meaningful change in your community.

Since 2018, we’ve supported more than 100 organizations across Canada — including non-profits, governments, foundations, co-operatives, and social enterprises — to sharpen their strategy and deepen their impact.

As a woman-owned business and certified Living Wage Employer, we take a values-driven, community-centered approach to every engagement. Our work combines rigorous structure with a relational approach, acting as your guide and extended team to foster alignment and spark momentum.

Accessibility initiatives

We are new on our accessible employment journey. We have supported individual staff and independent consultants with the accommodations they require to work.

To move towards creating a more intentional culture of access and inclusion, we are exploring initiatives like the Community of Accessible Employers and working on our first Accessibility Policy.
