GGA-Architecture
Who we are
For over four decades, GGA has been changing skylines, building communities, and enriching lives through the built form across Western Canada. Inspired by regions, our designs reflect the natural environments that envelop them and are intentional in achieving timeless, classic, yet modern architecture.
Our 120-person firm is registered to practice in Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia. From our headquarters in Calgary, we provide Prime Consultant architectural, interior design, and urban design services to our clients across all three provinces and beyond. We value true collaboration and recognize the importance of partnering with visionaries across all the project sectors we engage in.
We have an established reputation for being excellent listeners and work in collaboration with clients and consultants to achieve superior results. The firm is 100 percent owned by six partners, each of whom is actively involved in the day-to-day operations of the firm. They are: Stephanie Yeung, Vincent Dods, Stephen Mahler, Chito Pabustan, David Wittman, and Jonny Hehr.
Why we are involved
At GGA, inclusive employment is fundamentally connected to how we practice architecture and how we support our people. We believe the best outcomes emerge from teams that reflect a diversity of backgrounds, perspectives, and lived experiences. By fostering an environment where individuals are supported to contribute fully and authentically, we strengthen collaboration, encourage innovation, and create a workplace where people can succeed on their own merits.
This commitment extends beyond our organization and informs the projects we deliver. We recognize that accessibility, inclusion, and well-being are essential considerations in creating environments that serve diverse communities. Several members of our team are Rick Hansen Foundation Accessibility Certified, bringing specialized expertise in identifying and removing barriers to participation. Our firm also includes WELL Accredited Professionals whose knowledge of health and wellness informs evidence-based design strategies that support comfort, resilience, and long-term user well-being.
We are involved in the inclusive employment movement because we recognize that equitable access, meaningful participation, and a sense of belonging benefit individuals, organizations, and communities alike.
