At Presidents Group, we have strived to uphold the highest WCAG standards appropriate to web accessibility.

We have outlined where our website meets WCAG 2.0 AA requirements, and the very few aspects that do not, below, for full transparency and accessibility to any users.

Priority 1: Perceivable

Guideline 1.1 : Provide text alternatives for all non-text content.

A – there are captions and transcripts for any videos that appears as resources on our site.

Guideline 1.2 : Provide synchronized alternatives for multimedia.

A – videos of our on Youtube have captions and transcripts, and upcoming videos will have simultaneous ASL translation.

Guideline 1.3 : Ensure that information and structure can be separated from presentation.

Guideline 1.4 : Make it easy to distinguish foreground information from its background.

So far, we have met priority 1.

Priority 2: Operable

Guideline 2.1 : Make all functionality operable via a keyboard interface.

Guideline 2.2 : Allow users to control time limits on their reading or interaction.

This is not applicable – we do not introduce timed activities for our users at any point.

Guideline 2.3 : Allow users to avoid content that could cause seizures due to photosensitivity.

Guideline 2.4 : Provide mechanisms to help users find content, orient themselves within it, and navigate through it.

Guideline 2.5 : Help users avoid mistakes and make it easy to correct mistakes that do occur.

At present, intelligent corrections of user input is an area to be addressed.

Priority 3: Understandable

Guideline 3.1 : Make text content readable and understandable.

Guideline 3.2 : Make the placement and functionality of content predictable.

Full compliance with priority 3.1 means that all content be readable at a lower secondary school level. This guideline will take time to introduce as it requires all content to be re-written and presented in a plain English version.

Priority 4: Robust

Guideline 4.1 : Support compatibility with current and future user agents (including assistive technologies).

Guideline 4:2: Ensure that content is accessible or provide an accessible alternative.

We meet all Robust guidelines in full as far as we are aware, and we are always open to feedback if this is not the case. We underwent extensive testing the summer of 2021 while building this new website.
