The Research Universities’ Council of British Columbia (RUCBC) represents the interests of BC’s research universities: The University of British Columbia (UBC), Simon Fraser University (SFU), the University of Victoria (UVic), the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC), Royal Roads University (RRU) and Thompson Rivers University (TRU).

BC’s research universities provide high-quality and accessible university education for students. Inclusive learning, living, and working environments are provided for students of all abilities. Students with disabilities are an important source of talent, and research universities are committed to supporting these students in their education and transition into the workforce by providing programming that removes barriers and enhances opportunities. RUCBC works with government and the public and private sectors to increase the employment rate for university graduates with disabilities.
